A busy Election Day

We had quite the day on Election Day. We went to go and vote. Amelia was excited since she got both my "I voted" sticker as well as mom's.
Then we had to play outside since it was GORGEOUS! Amelia decided it was a good place to take a nap.
Then we had to head to Austin since Dad had an eye doctor appointment and was going to get his eyes dilated. There was the promise of going to Austin Land and Cattle, so Amelia and I were IN! While dad was at the doctor, mom, Amelia and I went and got a coffee (well, mom and I at least) and then went to one of the best bookstores I have ever been to, Book People. It is wonderful! Their children's section is wonderful. There is even a little amphitheater for when there is a book reading. Amelia LOVED it! She had a bit too much fun because she decided to take a nap right before we headed over to the steakhouse.

She continued sleeping when we got there, so we let her. However, she's a smart one and woke up just in time to have some of mommy's and Grandma's filet mignon. Smart girl. It was so freaking good! If you are ever in Austin and want a GREAT steak, this is the place to go!
