Cheese!!!

I have a little cheese lover on my hands. Well, to be more exact, a Baby Bell lover. She sees the package and she freaks out. Last night, she ate real good. She ate almost a whole 220 gram jar of food, then a big slice of gelbwurst (bologna), then she got the cheese. She almost ate the whole thing, but I think she must have been absolutely stuffed after all the other stuff. Oh, and thank you Grandpa for the Texas Tough shirt. It is way too cute!

Sand box with friends

Yesterday, we were in Regensburg for a little brunch and city time with friends. It was quite nice I must say. It wasn't too hot and there was a lovely breeze. We went to Black Bean over near Janda's house (since we were waiting for Jonathan to wake up from his nap so they could join us). At this particular Black Bean, they have a wonderful courtyard, and what did we discover? A sand box. With toys! Score! So, we moved over there and had some wonderful photo ops.

Stinker face...;)
"What?"
With her good buddy Clair...
Clair sharing the toys...such a good older friend!

Walking around

Amelia isn't really one to want to sit in her stroller. The balloon helped a bit today because it kept her occupied. However, now that she has found her legs, she is wanting to use them! No more of this sitting around stuff. She is wanting to walk...all the time. So, at the kinderburgerfest, this is just what we did. She walked for a good 500-600 meters (not all at once mind you, but in total). And, also, not yet all on her own...holding on to mommy or daddy's fingers. She had a blast! I can't wait for the Kinderburgerfest next year so that she can run around on her own and play...

Kinderburgerfest Weiden

Today was the Kinderburgerfest (Children's Festival) in Weiden. We went and it was a lot of fun. Next year will be much more fun since she was just a bit too young for any of the games or activities. Nonetheless, loads of people watching went on, which is one of her favorite things to do right now. ;)
At the festival!

She got a balloon...it was quite fun for her to play with. She really enjoyed it.

Sitting on a bouncy horse. She absolutely loved it! I know what Markus and I are getting her for her birthday!

This was really cool. They had this plane attached to a crane and you could sit in it while it took you around in a circle. Pretty cool, especially for the kiddos! I hope they have this next year so that we'll get a go on it!

Happy little girl!

Sad face

I know...I'm a mean mom. Amelia has just the saddest sad face on the planet. I had to capture it. I don't remember why she was crying though...I probably told her "no", which, these days, is all she needs.

New toys

Amelia has discovered some awesome new toys. Clothes pins. I have them in a bag on the balcony and also attached to our clothes hanger thing. She absolutely loves them! Such fun!

Charlie also wanted in on the clothes pin action. He would pick on up every so often and want to trade it for a treat...his favorite game.
And, of course, a little video.
