Dear Blog,
I am so sorry that I have been neglecting you in the past month. I will try to do my best to keep up with something once a week (maybe more if you're lucky). You know, it is just hard with an almost 7 month old who is now mobile and deciding that you being on the computer isn't the best idea and will scream until you realize this. But I do promise that when the wee one takes a nap, I will try to post something (that is, unless I am napping as well.).

I am a Texan living in Germany. I have always wanted to start a blog basically as a way to get settled here. I live in Weiden in der Oberpfalz and I am liking it pretty much. I do get bouts of homesickness, but I think that just comes with the territory. Basically, this will just be a rambling of my adventures.
